Known as the quiet one in the band, Si is a crucial and popular member due to the fact that he never upsets anyone. He joined the Monkeys in 2009 having earned his stripes with a successful covers band playing weddings and other eventful parties. Nothing prepared him for the excitement of teaming up with the rhythm section (Macca) and the fun that would produce. Often heard in the background requesting the need for a 'polished' ending and being told 'it will be alright on the night' he mumbles, smiles and plucks a couple more notes.
He is prone to becoming slightly nervous before most gigs and can often be unheard or invisible in the run up. As the bewitching hour approaches even less conversation ensues and tobacco gets rolled even more hastily. He loves the limelight however and cannot wait to be pushed to the front of the stage - finding movement and playing a mystery he is often the one seen grinning and statuesque but faultless in his style.
